Húsey HI Hostel

Having welcomed hostel guests for decades, Húsey HI hostel is a splash of color in the unspoiled landscape of the East. With seals, birds, and reindeer calling this place their home, even the drive up the road is picturesque. During summer you can soak into the rays in the sunroom and during autumn watch the Northern Lights dance over the sky. - A short drive from Húsey you can find a recently reconstructed Viking Turf Church.
Things to note
From road no.1 (at the bridge over Jökulsá á Brú) take 925, then 926, and Húsey is at the end of that road. The gravel part of the road is passable by all types of cars.There is no public transport to Húsey.
